Itinerary

Day 1

Marrakech Agafay day trip

On this one-day adventure from Marrakech we head south-west to the Agafay desert, a sea of rocky dunes set against the snow-capped High Atlas just 35 kilometres from the city. We stop at the Lalla Takerkoust dam for sweeping mountain views, then continue through the Berber village of Moulay Brahim and up onto the Kik plateau. After a leisurely Berber lunch we return to Marrakech in the late afternoon. Local Morocco Tours is happy to organise this full-day private trip for couples, families and small groups.
