Departing from Casablanca

Combining Marrakech and Essaouira in three days from Casablanca gives you Morocco’s most contrasting Atlantic-coast itinerary. From your Casablanca hotel or Mohamed V Airport, your private driver-guide heads south along the Atlantic coast road through El Jadida and Safi before arriving in the whitewashed port city of Essaouira.

Arriving in Essaouira from the north via the coast road is different from the inland Marrakech approach. The Atlantic winds, Portuguese-era sea walls, blue-painted fishing boats and Gnawa musicians in the port give Essaouira a character entirely its own. After a night in a medina guesthouse, the second day drives east to Marrakech — a 170km journey through the argan forest, one of Morocco’s most distinctive landscapes.

Marrakech rounds out the three days: a private guided walk through the souks, a visit to the Saadian Tombs or Bahia Palace, and an evening in the theatre of Djemaa el-Fna. On the final morning your driver returns you to Casablanca, or you can arrange a drop-off at Marrakech Menara Airport. Request a quote to confirm the route.
