Casablanca to Marrakech Day Trip

Departing from Casablanca

Marrakech is 240km south of Casablanca by road — roughly three hours by private vehicle via the A7 motorway or two hours by the Al Boraq high-speed train. A day-trip format from Casablanca by private vehicle allows approximately 5-6 hours in Marrakech, enough for the medina highlights with a private guide: Djemaa el-Fna, the Koutoubia Mosque, the souks, and either the Saadian Tombs or the Bahia Palace depending on your interests.

The Casablanca departure adds a practical advantage for travellers with limited time: you can fly into Casablanca, do a day trip to Marrakech, and fly home from the same airport without repositioning overnight.
