Day-by-day itinerary

Day 1

Marrakech → Agadir

Pickup is from your hotel or riad in Marrakech. We drive you south to Agadir, where we visit the fishing port and the bustling market area. We also stop at the Kasbah Agadir Oufella and the Souk El Had municipal market — both fascinating places. After exploring the local medina, you will have some free time in the afternoon before checking into a hotel or riad in Agadir for the night.

Day 2

Agadir → Marrakech

After spending the morning touring some of Agadir's most famous attractions, including the medina with its many artisan studios, we head to the beach to relax for the afternoon. After lunch, you will have some free time before we drive you back to your accommodation in Marrakech. At Local Morocco Tours, we will do everything we can to tailor a holiday in Morocco that is perfect for you, your family, your friends or your group.

Departing from Marrakech

Agadir is 240km south-west of Marrakech by road — roughly three hours through the Souss Valley after crossing the Tizi n’Test or the N8 via Taroudant. A two-day private tour from Marrakech allows time to explore the Souss Valley properly rather than just transit through it: the walled city of Taroudant (often called ‘little Marrakech’), the argan forest between Aoulouz and Taroudant, and the Anti-Atlas foothills visible to the south.

Agadir itself is Morocco’s resort city — 8km of south-facing bay, a modern fishing port, and the rebuilt Kasbah above the town that survived the 1960 earthquake. Unlike most Moroccan cities, Agadir is deliberately relaxed: the beach, the souk El Had, and the Amazigh Heritage Museum fill a day without rushing. Your driver-guide is available throughout for context and introductions.

Return to Marrakech on Day 2 via the N8 or the P1709 through the Argan Reserve, with a possible stop at the Taroudant ramparts or the cooperative argan press at Aoulouz. Hotel pick-up and drop-off in Marrakech included. Request a quote for your travel dates.
