Day 1

Tangier To Chefchaouen

You will discover the best destinations on this private Morocco tour departing from Tangier. This morning we drive to Chefchaouen, often called the blue city. Its Berber name "Chefchaouen" means "look at the horns". We enjoy a scenic walk through the medina to explore the blue and white washed walls. We also visit the kasbah museum and you have a free afternoon. Overnight in a local riad.

Day 2

Chefchaouen → Tangier

Today our 2-day Tangier tour to Chefchaouen and back continues. Enjoy optional hiking or trekking activities. We then drive back to Tangier and drop you off at your hotel, where the tour ends. Departing from Tangier

Tangier is Morocco’s northernmost city and the natural entry point from Europe — 14km across the Strait of Gibraltar from Spain by high-speed ferry. A two-day private tour from Tangier to Chefchaouen covers the first essential contrast of northern Morocco: the cosmopolitan port city that was an international zone for half the 20th century, then the mountain village painted entirely in blue.

Chefchaouen is 120km south-east of Tangier by road, a journey of two to two and a half hours through the Rif Mountains. The road rises quickly out of Tangier through Tetouan — a whitewashed city with its own distinct Andalusian heritage — and then climbs into the Rif highlands before descending to Chefchaouen in its valley setting. Arriving by early afternoon gives you the best light for the blue medina photography and a relaxed first evening.

Day 2 is unhurried in Chefchaouen before the drive back to Tangier or onward to Fes.
